This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose + The Performance and Business Enablement Manager drives activities that enable greater employee productivity and adoption of new ways of working across the Gas Business Enablement (GBE) information technology initiatives at National Grid. This includes the development of Business Enablement practices and methodologies contributing topromote awareness and understanding of the IT Transformation Programs and its successes, sustaining their benefits. + The Performance and Business Enablement Manager will enable the change management and value realization in alignment with the information technology strategy defined by the Head of IT Transformation Programs (GBE). + In this role the Performance and Business Enablement Manager will be responsible for ensuring adherence to National Grid’s Business Management Standard (BMS) for Programme and Change Management. ## Key Accountabilities + Develop and maintain strategic guidance, message development, content creation and distribution across multiple communication channels for information technology initiatives within the program + Develop enhancements to change strategic roadmap of information technology initiatives aligned with the GBE program objectives and timeline + Align and coordinate with NY Gas CIO and IT Enabling Strategy, Planning and Performance Director + Support the execution of the program IT release schedules, providing on-message communications to impacted users across relevant channels that support their change journey + Serve as a trusted communications advisor to theHead of IT Transformation Programs (GBE) and NY Gas CIO Leadership team + Support the development and/or implementation and sustainment of a holistic communication strategy to engage stakeholders including: + Lead in content creation, distribution and management of IT Transformation Programs across multiple communication channels (Yammer (internal social media platform), emails, internal newsletters, Grid:Home (intranet), printed and digital, other channels). + Think creatively to find new approaches outside of the standard ways of communicating + Collaborate and align with US Corporate Affairs, Communications and Gas Transformation Office CMO teams, as necessary + Develop high-value content including: program IT leadership emails, infographics, short videos, Yammer posts, talking points, presentations. + Lead video projects—both in developing and managing the concept, script and logistics as well as vendor management, when necessary. + Provide support to IT Gas Enabling Strategy leadership on service development, delivery, performance and deployment ## Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required + Ability to build, manage and develop a team of specialist resources. + Proven ability to build credible and long term working relationships within IT, business teams and third-party suppliers and demonstrate influence in a team environment. ## Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, science television-radio or related field. + Min. 3-5 years of demonstrated, direct experience in corporate communications, public relations, change management, or related field. + Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise copy for both internal and external use, including (but not limited to) content for various internal channels, news releases, media advisories, fact sheets, white papers, executive speeches and presentations, employee newsletters, etc. Writing samples must be provided as part of this job search. + Has strong leadership, relationship, communication and presentation skills combined with a good track record of delivering business change. + Proficient in Microsoft Office,Microsoft Teams, Grid:Home, SharePoint Online, Adobe Premier Pro, Videlicious, Vyond, Articulate 360, Yammer + APMG Change Management and Change Practitioner Preferred ## More Information This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
