Job Purpose

The Lead Analyst Process and Performance Reporting will help to continue to advance the Property Services department along its path of continuous improvement. The expectations of this role include: leading project teams through the performance improvement framework, identifying and leveraging the right tools to solve problems, providing ad-hoc analysis for the organization, identification of metrics which will help improve team productivity or efficiency, and becoming a trusted advisor to the organization for questions regarding process and performance. Our team supports the entirety of NY Ops Support including: Land Survey, Rights of Way, Facilities, Real Estate, and Capital Projects, Fleet, Warehouse, Environmental, and Aviation. The projects run by the team have the potential to impact National Grid as a whole.

Key Accountabilities

  • Leading cross functional teams through process improvement initiatives

  • Developing performance measures that help to tell the story of NY Ops Support

  • Assist in embedding the philosophy of process improvement within NY ops support

  • Develop metrics that demonstrate speed, time, or cost performance

  • Management and communication with key stakeholders across the business

  • Take on high profile, cross functional projects, that have the potential to impact National Grid as a whole.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, science, math, education or similar; or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years Process and Performance experience

  • Leading cross functional teams through process improvement initiatives

  • Developing performance measures that help to tell the story of NY Ops Support

  • Assist in embedding the philosophy of process improvement within NY ops support

  • Develop metrics that demonstrate speed, time, or cost performance

  • Management and communication with key stakeholders across the business

  • Take on high profile, cross functional projects, that have the potential to impact National Grid as a whole

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification

  • Experience using Tableau or Power BI to create data visualizations

  • Experience working in a fast-paced operations environment

  • Experience driving an organization’s process maturity forward
