National Grid Analyst, Procure to Pay in Syracuse, New York

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will support the storm filing process for New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island for qualifying storms including mutual aid and restoration recovery.

Key Accountabilities

The candidate will:

• Interpret the guidelines set forth by the Regulators

• Extract data and analyze information from multiple systems

• Prepare files and exhibits to support process stream

• Respond to information requests in a timely manner

• Support ongoing development of end to end processes, to remove waste and increase value


• A Bachelor's degree in a related area and up to 3 years of analytical or business support experience, or equivalent work experience is preferred

• Strong analytical skills, using systems including Excel, MS Word, Access.

• Ability to research, compile, coordinate, schedule, review, document, organize, verify data, conduct independent analysis and identify inconsistencies.

• Ability to administer, analyze, interpret, create, initiate, resolve and implement management policies, operating practices and procedures for the functional area.

• Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities of moderate scope

• Knowledge of general accounting principles

• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to operate with all levels of the business including organizing and facilitating workshops along with crafting presentations for senior management level
