Job Title: Lead Technical Architect

Position Type: Salaried, Full-Time

Job Location: HQ: St. Louis, MO

Job Duties: Lead the architectural efforts of large and complex projects or complex technologies (e.g., cloud architecture integration) involving multiple vendors, multiple technologies, leading-edge technologies, and broad implications for architecture; Develop roadmaps to incorporate industry best practices, presents solutions, and gains support/approval from stakeholders and senior management; Prepare stakeholders for implementation, facilitates transparency and adaptation, and communicates how architecture drives value for the business; Provide deep expertise and build business case to management regarding appropriate, timely and necessary security improvements or enhancements; Review impact of proposed improvements across multiple technologies/projects; Design and develop the technical architecture and functionality of their domain (e.g., cloud, mobility, development ops and automation); Develop and share the architectural vision and direction for a domain within the architecture team, as well as with relevant business segments/areas; Display deep understanding of business models and requirements to design aligned technology solutions balancing cost, functionality, and practicality; Design architecture patterns, stacks, models and/or technical specifications based on deep and specialized knowledge of the domain, and the purpose/objective of the intended technology; and define standards for architecture documentation using modeling tools and methods, leveraging industry best practices.

The minimum requirements for the Position Offered are a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely-related field and five (5) years of experience in a position involving software/application analysis/development. Must have skills in Mulesoft, GitHub, Jenkins, Splunk, Apache Kafka, Java, Postman, JSON, Draw.io, and MS Visio. Ameren Services Company. Company Headquarters: St. Louis, MO.
