The HR Services and Employee Relations Client Consultant serves as a strategic business partner to business segment leadership regarding human resources-related matters. The Client Consultant provides strategic advice, counsel and service to business segment leadership, pulling in COE expertise as needed to provide an integrated and high quality solution to resolve specific business or people challenges. This role will partner will leaders to align Ameren's workforce strategy with segment-specific needs to enable the business to execute on its strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Consult and support leaders with creating and executing on a comprehensive workforce strategy that aligns with the strategic goals and objectives of the organization.
Provide and consult with business leaders on human capital metrics, bringing forth data-driven insights to help them make informed talent decisions. Partner with COE's to roll out core talent processes to business segment leadership including areas such as identification of high potential leaders, co-worker and leader development, talent planning, job and organization design/review, change management, and compensation.
Partner with COE's to develop and refine core talent processes, sharing business segment priorities so the end product is well adopted, usable, and impactful to the business.
Proactively identify and solve emerging talent needs and issues within business segments.
Travel and/or alternate work schedule may be required based on business needs.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required, with a specialization in business or a human resource related discipline preferred. Advanced degree and HR certification preferred. Three or more years of relevant professional-level human resources required.
