Job Description

Are you ready for a unique opportunity reporting to our dynamic Director of Supply Chain?

In this role, you will lead material management and logistics functions globally for AltaGas utilities with an estimated annual spend of over $60+ million. You will have the opportunity to showcase your ability to think on your feet, inspire others, build confidence with both internal and external customers, and deliver the materials that are imperative to our business success and safety.

You will be responsible for:

  • Contract negotiations

  • Implementation of best practices

  • Market analysis/trend/supplier performance/relations

  • Materials management-related policies, procedures, and operational/SOX controls

  • Leading & developing a global team of 3+ Developing the global materials strategy and budget

  • Developing demand planning and materials forecasts

  • Managing the commercial and operational aspects of the materials contracts

  • All audit-related activities across the organization

  • Tracking internal KPIs, savings targets, and customer satisfaction goals globally

  • Maintaining outstanding relationships with our Stakeholders (internal/external)

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Supply Chain, Inventory, Materials Management or relevant discipline

  • 7+ years experience in inventory management

  • 2+ years supervisory experience

  • Experience in managing multiple geographic inventory locations

  • Proven track record in implementing best practices

  • Strong analytical skills and a meticulous focus on detail
