Job Description

Supports the administration of Avista's safety applications and is the subject matter expert and point person for all safety event reporting and analytical systems. Collaborates with the Safety Department and enterprise wide business units to design and develop reports and dashboards to better understand trends as it applies to safety.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years related experience in systems administration

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Safety & Occupational Health, and/or Human Resources or other related degree

  • Master’s degree or advanced training preferred.

  • External vendor management experience.

  • Excellent trouble-shooting, root cause analysis and issue resolution skills with technology systems.

  • Creativity and ability to develop and implement new ideas and processes.

  • Ability to interact will all levels of the organization, be customer centric, and be a trusted and effective member of teams.

  • Ability to handle competing priorities

  • Effective project management skills.

  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Basic HTML coding is a plus.
