Provides general office support and performs clerical duties such as routine typing, filing, answering phones, copying, and collating materials.
Performs administrative duties within the department as may be required.
Performs data entry associated with specific work functions within the department such as time entry for multiple construction projects, invoice processing, and work request job closing.
Provides project assistance as directed by the department leadership.
Records Management Custodian responsibilities including file maintenance, reporting and compliance to internal and regulatory required records retention policies.
Assists in coordination of workplace safety audits and preparing associated reports. Assists in preparation of safety materials, budget requirements, and gathering relevant information. Assists in coordination of the on-boarding process and maintains employee training records and files.
Must be willing to assume a storm restoration role and travel if necessary.
Minimum education required of the position
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum experience required of the position
Clerk-Specialty II - 2-4 years of minimum experience
Clerk-Specialty Sr - 5-7 years of experience
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Entergy Corporate applications (DSS, DIS, CTS, Indus, Earl, Pearl, VEA, ECOS, Service Suite, AM/FM DFM & Time and Labor. Must be familiar with CCS. Familiar will all company policies and procedures. Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral with internal and external customers. Willing to work extended hours as needed. Self-starter with high initiative, willingness to learn new processes. Excellent multitasking and team working capability a must.
Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
May require certification and/or license as required for specific positions.
Must be EEI SASS test recommended.
