RATE OF PAY: Starting rate of pay is$32.02
SCHEDULE:M-F, 7:30AM – 3:30PM
**Union Represented Position**
Under general supervision, the Pressure Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of and adjustment of pressure regulating stations, weather related removal of snow and water, replacement and interpretation of pressure recording charts, corrosion control, and other assigned piping, maintenance and installation tasks in accordance with Company, State and Federal codes and regulations. The Pressure Mechanic is responsible for successfully completing all OJT tasks and examinations as required.
1. Minimum 3-5 years experience in a pressure control or instrumentation related industry. Preferred experience in natural gas utility operations.
2. This position will require satisfactory completion of a pre-screening for new hires, completion of company training programs, evaluations and written test, as agreed and subsequently implemented by the Technical Training Committee.
3. Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license. CDL preferred.
