The WTG technician will perform fault finding, inspections-, maintenance- and repair works at offshore wind turbines. Those works will be done in joined teams with the turbine supplier or idenpendently.

LOCATION

Sassnitz; Port Neu Mukran; Germany

WORKING PATTERN

Permanent; full time; 14/ 14 rotation

RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

• Fault finding, Inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical, hydraulical and mechanical components at offshore wind turbines in accordance with European, national and company safety standards, norms and regullations

• Statutory inspections, annual checks of safety equipment

• Check and repair of cranes, ladders, Fallarrestsystems etc.

• Check and repair of electrical components

• Guidance and supervision of subcontractors

• Execution of quality checks and audits

• Support at generation or review of risk assessments and method statements

• Maintenance and repair of tools and spares

• Support of warehouse manager with administration and commissioning of spare parts

• Reinforcement of the team at fire protection and fire fighting drills and exercises ( qualification as HLO/ HAD )

• Provision of daily reports reflecting the executed works

MANDATORY SKILLS

• Sucessfully completed vocational education preferable as electrician, industrial mechatronic or eelctrical engineer

• Minimum 2 years experince in one of the above mentioned disciplins, preferably offshore

• Fluent English and German skills, verbal and written

• Medical fitness and willingness to work offshore

• Ability to travel in Germany and abroad

• Familiar with MS Office standard software

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Switching authorisation 33/66 kV

• Experience in operations of cranes

• GWO modules for offshore works
