MYR Group Certified Payroll Coordinator in Santa Fe Springs, California

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Certified Payroll Coordinator will assist the Certified Payroll Specialist with preparing and submitting certified payroll in accordance with contract specifications. As well as, track subcontract certified payroll compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Assist Certified Payroll Specialist with preparing and submitting certified payroll as required in accordance with contract documentation.

  • Assist Certified Payroll Specialist with certified payroll corrections.

  • Maintain subcontractor certified payroll reports, logs, and notifications.

  • Navigate websites and accurately input and update information.

  • Track subcontractor certified payroll compliance items.The preceding functions have been provided as examples of the types of work performed by employees assigned to this job classification. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind work assignments and to make reasonable accommodations as needed.This position is classified as exempt meaning more than 50% of the employee’s time is spent performing exempt job duties consistent with this job description. Qualifications

  • Administrative, team, and/or volunteer experience encouraged, but not required

  • A Bachelor’s degree is encouraged, but not required

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

Physical Demands

  • May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.

  • May be required to stoop, bend, and crouch.

Work Environment

  • Works in a climate-controlled environment 50% of the time.

  • Frequently works in areas with large industrial equipment subject to high noise levels.

  • May occasionally work in areas with hazardous chemicals.

  • Salary $52,000-$62,400 / year

  • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. CSI reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
