Position Specific Description

The NextEra Mobility team was formed in 2021 following the acquisition of eIQ Mobility. The Mobility team is rapidly expanding to keep pace with the transition to Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV). We are combining the best-in-class fleet assessment services of eIQ Mobility with the energy expertise of the world’s largest renewable energy developer to create infrastructure-as-a-service offerings for commercial fleets looking to decarbonize their fleets.

Position Specific Description

NextEra Mobility is seeking a well-qualified candidate who is passionate about driving the clean energy revolution by accelerating the electrification of commercial and public fleets. To do this, we need a software product lead who will help marry our deep energy markets, renewables and energy management expertise with the demands of commercial fleets and their existing fleet management partners.

As a Senior Product Manager at NEER’s Mobility business, you will be asked to:

  • Build and manage the software product management function including establishing best practices for benchmarking, collecting voice of the customer, interfacing with engineering, business development and other product teams across the organization,

  • Manage, train and mentor product managers

  • Use analytical abilities and rigorous thinking to work cross-functionally, determine highest priority new features and tenaciously drive those projects forward

  • Work closely with customers and other NextEra and external partner teams to develop smart and creative software solutions to the problems our customers face and ensure NextEra is delivering the best software possible

  • Project manage all aspects of software development, including customer research, feature design, mock-up and user story creation, engineering development, launch and growth, and key metrics development and reporting

Job Overview

Employees in this role are accountable for the overall Profit and Loss, sales volume forecasting, and pricing for an identified segment of the business. Individuals develop and execute new product and service development and management to drive profitable growth.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understands customer lifecycle and researches, tests, and launches new products and services

  • Develops and launches campaigns to create and close more viable sales/leads by product/service

  • Designs and launches sales support materials to support new product/service launch

  • Conducts ongoing market, product, pricing, and customer analysis to identify trends and opportunities

  • Gathers and analyzes VOC (voice of the customer) on products/services

  • Plans, develops, and executes strategic marketing plan to drive profitable growth

  • Conducts and oversees market, product, competitive, and customer research activities to understand customer needs, growth opportunities, and trends

  • Leads the Product Launch Process and develop a strong pipeline to meet growth targets

  • Performs rigorous channel testing, completes analysis, and shares results with critical team members

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience: 4+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s - Business Administration

The base pay for this position is $92,800.00 to $139,200.00 per year. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
