As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities will be to manage a phase of a large complex project or manage multiple medium sized projects equaling between $5M and $50M, ensuring profitable operations. This position is accountable for all aspects of a project’s success from the initial proposal/bidding process, to meet or exceed the clients’ expectations, to the profitable completion of the jobs, with a special emphasis on safety performance. It is essential to be reliable, self-motivated, goal oriented, organized, and professional. Critical for success are excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the abilities to work well in teams and quickly make decisions. The duties and responsibilities include to maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Under the direct supervision of the assigned manager, review project proposal or plan to fully understand the scope of the work and contract to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. In coordination with field leadership, coordinate activities of the project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Responsible for contract management: initial conversations through final project close-out. Additionally, once awarded/executed, serve as the point of contact for customers (internal and external) on contractual matters, ensuring timely review and reconciliation/approval of variations.
The anticipated salary range is: $100,000 to $145,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What it takes?
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 3-5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to work at a desk and occasionally required to work in the field on active construction sites
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. One must work at a steady fast pace, with frequent interruptions
Travel, which may include extended duration, is required. Must have the ability to commit to long term onsite projects. During travel, employee may be regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and moving vehicles and equipment. The noise level may be moderate to loud
