This position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Under general supervision, provides immediate first-level support and a single point of contact for Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunications problems. Responds to support calls, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve, or dispatch to second and third tier personnel to resolve issues. Follows up with the client, as needed, to ensure the issue was properly resolved. IT issues include multi-platform environments, multiple software applications, and multiple hardware configurations. Telecommunications issues include phone systems, voicemail, cellular devices, radios, and LAN and WAN connectivity. Records and resolves a wide range of problems. Coordinate and escalates more complex problems to specific support groups.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
3+ years of related helpdesk or troubleshooting experience
Experience adapting to and applying rapidly-changing technology to business needs.
Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Knowledge of LAN, WAN network protocols
Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint),
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory and database structures.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated competency in logical and analytical thinking.
Strong customer service orientation.
Refrain from abusive and profane language.
Ability to work in and contribute to a positive team environment.
Ability to exercise significant amount of discretion in performance of duties.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to handle emergency requests.
Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: High School Graduate , GED
