This new position will be part of the growing Grid Management team, and be responsible for supporting network model feeder builds and simulation feeder adjustments in the ADMS. This position will also support the model build, import profiles, provide SCADA support, and perform a variety of analyses against the completed model to ensure desired results.

Position Summary

The purpose of this role is to provide ADMS support to the Distribution Control Centers, Grid Engineers, Distribution Engineering and Business Systems by building, monitoring and maintaining the ADMS impedance model, reporting on ADMS operational performance metrics, and supporting SCADA point-to-point checkout between ADMS SCADA Distribution Automation field devices.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work with GIS technicians and Substation personnel on data management and model promotion issue resolution for the construction and maintenance of the impedance model in ADMS.

  • Support the design and implementation of ADMS in all Operating Companies.

  • Provide ADMS SCADA device integration and technology support by working with field technicians and ADMS IT personnel to commission new field devices and resolve performance issues.

  • Monitor and maintain the ADMS model, for both substation and field grid accuracy.

  • Works with our IT ADMS support partners on display build and modification

  • Provide reporting on remote device availability, ADMS application and grid performance, and grid situational awareness for Control Center Operators.

  • Perform tag audits and additional model audits consistent with ADMS and operational best practices.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2 years GIS model related experience, Smallword GIS preferred.

  • 2 years Distribution Operations or similar experience.
