Summary
Spire is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support network and server infrastructure in our data centers and remote site environments, ensuring all solutions adhere to security and governance standards and best practices. The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will have hands on experience with virtualization technologies, automation platforms, Windows Operating Systems, storage arrays, Data Center networking technologies, routing and switching, wireless technologies, and will excel at finding solutions to challenging problems. Duties and Responsibilities
Update and maintain Windows servers in stand-alone and virtualized environments.
Building, deploying, and maintaining physical and virtual storage infrastructure.
Group Policies, Windows security, Windows printer management, and general Windows administration.
Manage, maintain, and support Active Directory.
Update, monitor, and maintain switches and firewalls.
Support Inter-VLAN routing, BGP, IPSec operation.
Troubleshoot and maintain enterprise level routing / switching to ensure optimal performance, capacity, and availability of the enterprise network.
Work with communications vendors, as necessary, for troubleshooting, budgetary pricing, and installation of data circuits.
Develop documentation and best practices for the Operations team for support.
Design and implement automation processes to improve and reduce manual procedures.
Work with the Operations team and Smart Desk to provide documentation, operating procedures and troubleshooting guides for ongoing support.
Work with Identity and Access Management on secured configurations and policies for infrastructure systems
Ensure infrastructure meets industry standards for high availability and adherence to negotiated SLAs.
Assist in Disaster Recovery planning, development, and testing.
Work with the ITSM team regarding change control, incident management, problem management and IT policies in an ITIL driven organization.
Review and develop process and procedures as well as document resolutions contributing to the knowledgebase.
Collaborating with solutions and enterprise architects, business units, developers, and the innovation teams to deliver solutions.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Education (certifications, licenses)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
5+ years of storage architecture and management experience.
3+ years of experience in scripting or other programming language.
5+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and administering enterprise level server and storage hardware in a Data Center.
7+ years of Windows OS experience.
5+ years proven experience designing, managing, and maintaining virtualization platforms.
7+ years of experience in core networking and advanced routing and switching.
5+ years of experience in wireless technologies.
Experience in key skill areas that include Data Center server and network architecture, and secure Process Control environments.
Cisco CCNA or higher.
Microsoft, VMWare or other Virtualization Certifications.
CISSP a plus.
Required knowledge, skill and abilities

Physical demands, environment and schedule
Work is performed in a shared, open-office environment remote work opportunity.
Evening and weekend hours may be necessary for off-hour implementation, maintenance and to meet critical project deadlines.
Travel up to 30% will be required to meet the needs of the business.
