We’re looking to fill a temporary, full-time position to cover an extended leave of absence through the end of February, potentially longer. This individual is a highly organized, detail-oriented person who can successfully manage multiple creative projects on time and on budget, work under pressure in a collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment, and adapt quickly to address evolving business needs and priorities. The ideal candidate has a proactive and positive attitude and fosters open communication between teams. Humility, teamwork and collaboration are core behaviors needed to excel in this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the workflow and successful execution of all print, digital, photo and video projects requiring Creative Services support, ensuring projects stay on time and on budget from inception

  • to implementation

  • Collaborate with project initiators to understand project strategy, deliverables, budget and deadlines

  • Evaluate, open and track all Creative Services projects using a web-based project management tool

  • Schedule and participate in creative kickoff and ad hoc strategic meetings

  • Proactively assess all active projects daily, troubleshoot roadblocks, field project-related questions and work with team members to move projects forward

  • Interact with Creative Services Director and Creative Services Manager to prioritize workload

  • Plan and manage all creative project schedules for successful and timely completion

  • Establish and monitor review and approval workflow for each project

  • Manage all branded apparel and merchandise production, including product sourcing, cost estimates, samples, schedules, vendor management and invoicing

  • Manage purchase order requisitions, invoicing and expense reconciliation processes for creative services production work

  • Maintain process standards and procedures for project initiation, scheduling and tracking

  • Build strong relationships with team members and external suppliers to best meet company goals

Essential Characteristics and Competencies

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None

Required Education (certifications, licenses)

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business or related field

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

  • A minimum of 7 years professional experience as a project manager in a creative in-house or agency environment

  • Ability to demonstrate the core and job category competencies: customer-focused, results-driven, teamwork, communications, adaptability, initiative, problem solving and quality

  • Ability to lead by example in support of the company’s essential characteristics and values: strong ethics and integrity, dedication to a safe work environment, commitment to a diverse workforce that recognizes and respects every individual’s unique skills and perspectives

  • Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize a high volume of projects with minimal supervision

  • Strong understanding of the creative process

  • Keen attention to detail in planning, organizing and executing a variety of creative projects, while seeing the big picture and understanding the interdependencies

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a relentless focus on teamwork and having a positive, caring attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Experience using Robohead, a web-based project management tool, or comparable tool

  • Understanding of the agency creative workflow

Physical demands, environment and schedule

  • Work is performed virtually utilizing tools such as Zoom, Skype and Microsoft Teams

  • Evening and weekend hours may be necessary in order to meet critical project deadlines
