Job Summary

CenterPoint Energy is looking for a (CCS) Customer Care & Services Representative to join our Team, located in Louisiana .

You will have the ability to p erform billing, exception handling and corrections for SAP Customer Care and Services (CCS) processes.

Essential Functions

  • Strong skills in judgment, decisiveness, analysis, communications (both oral and written), and interpersonal skills.

  • Researches, reviews and corrects meter reads based on information received from both meter reading and service orders in SAP/CRM to ensure accurate and timely billing.

  • Researches, reviews and corrects meter ID numbers and ERT ID numbers utilizing SAP.

  • Issues and reviews work orders to ensure revenues are captured accurately at each address.

  • Investigates and processes customer requests received from the Call Center concerning possible misapplied payments, incorrect readings, accurate rates, etc. and making miscellaneous corrections to their account.

  • Performs and documents root cause analysis during the process of completing above activities.

  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Investigates andprocesses billing for specialized and complex accounts utilizing SAP and a variety of SharePoint databases.

  • Creates and maintains CCS master dataand updates regional structure data.

  • Assists with periodic system testing.

  • Provides specialized auditing and corrections for centralized CCS process functions.

  • Tests and analyzes CCS functionality as needed.

  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CCS module.

  • May specialize in various areas; including billing, address master data creation/set up, and/or exception handling.

  • Handles complex and challenging analysis, corrections and testing.

Education Description

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent knowledge of English, mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages), punctuation and grammar.

Experience

  • Experience in SAP or other equivalent production environment, including applicable research, troubleshooting, testing and documentation expertise preferred.

Bonus to be

  • Able to learn, understand and adapt quickly to changes in SAP CCS system or processes.

  • Able to understand local gas distribution industry workflow and services provided and apply that knowledge.

  • Able to use personal computer software proficiently, including spreadsheets, database, word processing and presentation software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Able to manage detailed data accurately.

  • Able to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Able to listen actively.

  • Able to interact with all levels of management and employees and perform well in a team environment.

  • Able to collaborate across functional boundaries to improve business processes.

  • Able to use initiative, good judgment, and tact to complete assigned tasks.

  • Able to use analytical skills to resolve problems quickly and accurately

  • Able to motivate self, accomplish tasks and achieve goals with minimal supervision including self-directed learning.
