Become a Senior Manager of Content Strategy & Channel Management at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will lead a team that is dedicated to creating consistent and creative content that educates and engages audiences in a relevant and impactful way, leveraging numerous channels/platforms. You will drive alignment and consistency in the company narrative through creative storytelling – internally and externally – across all channels. You will also create and manage an effective editorial strategy and calendar that maximizes message alignment ensuring that content is disseminated by leveraging numerous channels through a robust, thoughtful channel strategy. This includes corporate publications, portal, websites, and social media tools. You will be responsible for defining and measuring content impact and effectiveness through sophisticated data analytics and metrics and identifying best practices. You will manage comprehensive quality control over content that is developed and manage budgets and project plans.

Define and deliver a robust channel strategy that enables the right content to be leveraged across the right channels.
Plan, implement and optimize channel management strategies to drive adoption and engagement of content across the channels (portal, websites, internal social, etc.).
Drive a cohesive editorial calendar and strategy that leverages various channels (including portal, Energized by Edison, websites, etc.) to drive engagement, awareness and understanding.
Strategically position Energized as the central hub for brand storytelling, repurposing content for various internal and external channels.
Manage workstreams that inform, educate, and engage internal and external audiences on the strategy through impactful, creative storytelling that is visually appealing and engaging.
Manage content development of the key stakeholder publications that includes the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Sustainability; and Community Impact Reports, among others, to ensure consistency of message and a common visual look and feel.
Manage, train and develop team members by providing timely feedback, coaching and support. Monitors performance versus agreed upon objectives and success metrics aligned with department, OU, and corporate goals.
Demonstrates Company values through decisions and actions. Promotes the Company’s safety culture to ensure a safe work environment.
Serve as PIO during Incident Management Team activations and after hours (including nights and weekends) on call duty.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism or related discipline.
Five or more years of experience in Communications or Marketing.
Five or more years of project management experience.
Five or more years of experience managing and leading professional staff.
Ability to be high-level strategic thinker; have a natural flare for keeping track of the tactical execution and details.
Exceptional planner and organizer, with superior project management skills.
Excellent writing and editing skills – with a keen eye on detail and accuracy.
Must have strong oral communications skills, combined with sound business judgment and problem-solving skills.
Creative approach to storytelling leveraging channels to execute effective and impactful communications.
Keen listening ear and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of the company; ensure high levels of tact and diplomacy.
Proven track record to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and enjoys driving things forward.
Ability to strategically link communications plans and activities to business outcomes and partner across the company to deliver on the work.
Expert knowledge and understanding of internal and external communications methodologies, tools, and vehicles.
Knowledge and experience in producing complex publications from concept development to writing, editing, production and distribution across multiple channels.
