You will be responsible for leading, organizing and controlling project activities including, but not limited to, driving consensus in key decision-making discussions, coordinate the development and execution of key deliverables, presentations and management of essential documents for Generations portfolio of projects:
Act as key resource to project team, department and division management, customers, and/or client organizations to analyze and resolve complex issues ensuring team and project needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Effectively and accurately coordinate and communicate meeting decisions and key project deliverables (e.g., bids, Request for Proposal (RFPs), Contract Work Authorization (CWAs), contracts, reports, presentations, regulatory documents, etc.).
Partner with Project Manager to ensure the project meets schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Provide independent analysis and consistent follow-up with all relevant stakeholders to drive completion of project deliverables, action items, and objectives.
Gather, track, and manage documents to analyze and draw conclusions on complex data and information after considering alternatives through independent research and analysis.
Track and provide oversight of document management, change management, action and decision logs, risk logs and governance materials in accordance with Generation policies and procedures.
Create and track purchase orders, justifications of awards and change orders utilizing SAP and Ariba.
Collaborate with major construction project managers to ensure contractor meets the schedule, budget and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
The essentials
Five or more years of experience analyzing/managing documents to draw conclusions on complex data and information through research and analysis.
Experience using Microsoft Office suite, including spreadsheet and presentation software tools to report out data trends and analysis.
The preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management or related field.
Project Management Certificate.
Experience working in a utility or contractor environment supporting the development and/or execution of power generation capital projects.
Experience working with SAP and Ariba for procurement activities like contracting, invoicing and reporting.
Experience performing project management functions such as investigating and resolving problems, coordinating and communicating key project decisions and deliverables.
Experience with applications such as SharePoint, eDMRM or other document management platforms
Experience working across multiple disciplines, interdepartmental teams and engaging with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.
Ability to proactively manage time constraints, prioritize work, and resolve project related concerns.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization.
Customer focused and have the ability to understand and appropriately respond to internal and external stakeholders’ business needs.
Strong ethics, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
You should know
This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

Position will require up to 20% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory, including overnights.
Relocation does not apply to this position.
This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
