About Information Governance
The Information Governance Department within the Customer Programs and Services (CP&S) organization is a fast paced team responsible for the implementation of technical and business solutions.
The Project Manager will support the implementation of a new California law called the California Consumer Privacy Act (CaCPA). This new law expands the definition of personal information for all California Residents, thus, the law impacts SCE and EIX.
Lead the development and implementation of technical and non-technical solutions
Facilitate workshops and/or face-to-face meetings with impacted teams across Customer Service
Work with project managers in other Operating Units that may be impacted by changes on SCE.com
Give direction to an analyst to meet deadlines and milestones
Present to management team project status or develop presentations to be communicated by the Senior Project Manager or Senior Manager across Operating Units
Subject Matter expert of the California Consumer Privacy Act and meet regularly with Legal and Ethics & Compliance
Traveling will be required across cities surrounding Rosemead, Irwindale, and Rancho Cucamonga
Seven years of experience leading low to medium size cross-functional projects
Three years of experience leading low to medium size projects that require knowledge of SCE’s Customer Service Operations
Familiar with Assembly Bill 375, Senate Bill 1121 and the impact on Tariff Rule 25 (Customer Privacy)
Experience working with minimal direction to meet deadlines and milestones
Three years of experience giving direction to an analyst or team of analysts to meet deadlines
Demonstrated experience of SCE.com and the implementation of technical projects
Demonstrated experience of the application of the Customer Privacy law
Demonstrated experience working with vendors and third parties and/or implementation of technical projects
Demonstrated experience working with the Information Technology organization
Knowledge of the CS Replatform Project especially the Customer Interactions and Programs and Products tracks
Strong knowledge of SCE’s Customer Service processes specifically areas which handle customer’s personal information
Strong knowledge of the Customer Privacy law and how to apply it to CS business processes
Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work directly as employees for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
This is a full-time, project regular position for an estimated duration of24 months. This position is eligible for company benefits and incentives during the duration of the assignment. This posting represents 4 positions total.
