Takes accountability for managing the development, implementation, and coordination of technology initiative planning activities in the cybersecurity, corporate security and business resilience portfolios by engaging and consulting with clients and analyzing business needs identified through the development of the business initiative roadmaps. Develops and enhances relationships with key stakeholders, actively manage their expectations, provide strategic consultation and monitor satisfaction levels. Leads activities for development, implementation, and coordination of all technology planning activities by guiding the following activities; business capability planning, identification of business outcomes and objectives, requirements solicitation, business case development, process analysis and solution planning.
Proactively advise OUs on IT services and technologies by delivering clear, relevant, and timely planning communications to clients.
Acts as the primary connection between IT planning and the business.
Helps to identify demand conflicts and recommends escalation of conflicts, where appropriate for resolution.
Provides management and strategic direction to a cross functional teams.
Responsible for the development of scope, budget, and schedule in order to maintain the strategic view of the business, technology outcomes and how the technology initiative delivers on those outcomes. Establishes goals, negotiates, and develops project plans.
Primary capability leader for the IT portfolio areas they are supporting.
Executes demand management and business impact management activities for understanding, anticipating, and influencing client demand for services and working of solutions to escalated demand management client concerns.
Works with capacity management to ensure that IT has sufficient capacity to meet the required demand.
Prioritizes across the enterprise to ensure the highest – valued investments are sourced and completed.
Oversees and focuses on developing, maintaining, and performing: Business Relationship Management, Business and IT Strategic Alignment and Planning, Portfolio management and optimization, Investment case development, and portfolio risk and value optimization, Demand Management, Requirements Management across the cybersecurity, corporate security and business resilience portfolios.
10 years of experience leading projects or key business initiatives
5 years’ experience performing IT portfolio and security related work.
2 years’ experience developing strategic technology plans in support of key business objectives.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computing Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant technical discipline.
CISSP and/or PMP Certification.
Experience working with the TOGAF framework.
Experience working in an electric utility environment.

This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation.
