Become an IT Infrastructure Systems Quality Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. The IT Infrastructure Systems Quality Advisor provides technical mentorship in the planning, implementation, operation, and control of large deployments of O365 Suite of services. The successful candidate will work with architects and peer engineers to craft, configure, and support infrastructure systems and serve as a subject matter expert in support of Exchange, Exchange Online, and O365 core services. The IT Infrastructure Systems Quality Advisor also leads all aspects of Managed Service Providers (MSP) to ensure that the platform/technologies deployed at the Datacenter and Cloud are free of flaws, function as designed, follow design standards, and leverage existing and innovative technologies efficiently and effectively.

Technology evaluation along with design and implementation of Exchange, Exchange Online, and O365 core services namely TEAMS, SharePoint etc.
Collaborating with Domain architects, define and establish standards and best practices in the technology portfolio.
Accountable to establish quality measures for Engineering Services and participates in the governance forums to ensure operational services are prioritized and aligned with project needs. Also, assist in the creation/alignment of SLA's and OLA's with MSPs, Vendors and partners.
Takes ownership for follow-up services or problem escalation. Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.
Leads all aspects of the team’s technology roadmaps and alignment with Managed Service partners. Ensures roadmaps are kept current.
Seven (7) or more years of experience working in IT Operations in a managed services environment, providing technical guidance in the planning, implementation, operation, and control of large deployments of software of services.
Five (5) or more years of experience in Maintenance and Support of Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Exchange 2013 Server in a Hybrid Environment of 5,000+ user environment.
Three (3) or more years of working experience with Cloud technologies namely Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or AWS in both an infrastructure and application context.
Experience in engineering disciplines and practices and experience with having technical conversations or making technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Master’s degree in specialized field.
Four (4) or more years of experience in implementing and supporting the following O365 Suite of services: SharePoint Online, Mobile Device Management (Intune etc.), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and with Intune (Conditional Access MDM MAM).
Five (5) or more years of experience as a technical lead performing one or more of the following: implementing long-term strategies, engineering design, implementation, and decision support projects involving Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure technologies.

When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
