In this job, you will support Human Resources (HR) client base and department management and administration in a centralized Human Resources service center on specific HR programs, products, services, practices and policies and other assigned areas of responsibility requiring analysis and decision making.
The successful candidate will analyze, process, and respond to requests for a range of employee and organization data changes, personnel files and employee life cycle events with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. This person will also log questions, requests, and information provided and actions taken, and cultivate positive working relationships with key business partners. · Provide accurate information to all levels of employees and resolves customer issues.
· Maintain accurate record keeping for personnel files, reviewing incoming documents, apply judgment on category and appropriateness for personnel file management (PFM).
· Fulfill requests to view employee personnel files in accordance with established procedures, interacting directly with employees, leaders, HR, Legal and Ethics personnel, and external agencies.
· Utilizes systems such as help desk software, case management, SAP, etc., to track, monitor, analyze, process, and document all aspects of customer interactions.
· Handles sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.
· Proactively looks for and brings to management’s attention potential continuous improvement opportunities in program(s) and the department’s operations to optimize client satisfaction and efficiency.
Qualifications
The essentials
0-3 years of experience interacting directly with internal or external customers in a customer/client services environment analyzing and resolving customer issues
0-3 years of file management experience
0-3 years of experience analyzing, processing, and documenting data/information
The preferred
Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Demonstrated experience identifying process improvement opportunities and developing / making recommendations.
Effective resource and project planning, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation.
You should know
This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
