Job DescriptionTo provide an extraordinary commitment to customer satisfaction. To always deliver on our commitments. To locate gas facilities and perform on-site inspections of contractor’s practices during large construction projects insuring that Avista Corp standards, state, and federal regulations are met during these projects answering any questions and providing guidance to the contractor. To inspect natural gas facilities built by contract crews. To maintain the integrity of Avista Corp gas facilities, securing dig-in areas, arranging for repairs, responds to and ensuring public safety during an emergency situation. Responsible for fielding Avista Corp gas facilities in compliance with specific DOT regulatory reporting requirements.
This is a multistep progression.
Requirements
Requires minimum of two (2) years gas construction experience.
Requires knowledge of Company Gas Safety Standards and Procedures as well as DOT pipeline regulatory requirements.
Valid driver's license.
Must complete Fundamentals of Natural Gas and Basic Electricity 1 within 6 months.
Requires communication skills to provide information.
Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.
