Job Summary

The Project Coordinator will provide critical support to the operations team by managing, coordinating, billing, and tracking all aspects of streetlight installation, maintenance, and repair projects. This individual will serve as a liaison between field crews, subcontractors, customer representatives, and internal management to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work schedules for streetlight crews based on issued work orders and customer priorities.

• Track job progress from assignment to completion, ensuring timely documentation and closeout.

• Submit required documentation, including as-builts, field notes, site photos, and customer reports.

• Assist in resolving field issues such as access restrictions, customer complaints, or scope changes.

• Update project tracking systems, WMS platforms, and internal databases with real-time progress.

• Review work orders for accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with contract specifications.

• Ensure all jobs are billed correctly and on time, verifying accuracy of billing units and documentation prior to submittal.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, utility construction, or similar projects preferred.

• Strong organizational and communication skills a plus.

• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook and Excel, with intermediate to advanced spreadsheet capabilities.

• Ability to read construction drawings, schematics, and work orders.

Preferred

• Prior experience working on utility contracts or streetlight maintenance programs.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.
