Position Specific Description

Florida City Gas is looking for a Pipeline Integrity Analyst to join their team in Doral or Rockledge, FL. Gas industry experience is strongly preferred.

Job Overview

This position coordinates, plans, and schedules all activities required to develop and implement a comprehensive Integrity Management Program and ensures these programs are in full compliance with all applicable State and Federal codes.

This role assists with the development, implementation, and administration of a comprehensive regulatory compliance and pipeline safety program that encompasses construction, operation, maintenance, service, and emergency response activities for Florida City Gas (FCG), and professionally interacts with customers, regulatory authorities, and employees to ensure that the company satisfactorily meets their needs. Employees in this position provide quality, detailed asset data and analysis, as well as operational, maintenance, and root cause analysis. This role works closely with Geographic Information System (GIS) and Asset data Services, in the development and implementation of a consolidated asset data repository and systems strategy, to enable improved analysis and operational data management processes for FCG.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, plans, and schedules all activities required to implement Distribution and Transmission Integrity Management Programs (DIMP and TIMP)

  • Extracts and provides actionable analysis of data from various sources including Work Management systems, GIS, compliance and cathodic protection databases, assessment and excavation reports and similar sources for TIMP and DIMP programs

  • Continually improves data quality and availability of all asset data and asset performance data and provides transparency to the data, performs data verifications and validations

  • Interacts with employees and operational departments to conduct annual program evaluations to ensure that the company satisfactorily meets regulatory requirements of integrity management programs

  • Identifies necessary Preventive and Mitigative measures and works with key operational stakeholders to implement and track effectiveness

  • Develops standard analytic processes for assessing gas and other asset performance (leak trending, material performance, replacement program effectiveness, thematic mapping services, and specialized data services)

  • Documents all aspects of pipeline integrity management plans and organizes and maintains pipeline data, assessment reports, and technical and procedural documentation

  • Uses advanced data analysis skills to build plans for the mitigation of risks and threats to the pipeline’s operation

  • Performs written plan updates and initiates plan changes as needed to maintain code compliance, and organizes supporting documentation and plans for regulatory audits

  • Tracks and reports effectiveness of mitigation actions and assists in developing additional corrective actions as needed

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
