As Purchasing Analyst you’ll help find and acquire the right product at the right price – at the right time - to meet, and maybe even exceed, customer requirements. What You’ll Do…

  • Analyze spend data and create reports to solicit bid proposals

  • Create reports by division and communicate findings

  • Monitor suppliers’ performance and present spend reports to departments

  • Develop short-term and long-term sourcing strategies, cost analysis/standards, and quality metrics to ensure we maintain a competitive advantage in our supply chain.

  • Develop and execute tactical and strategic sourcing and process improvement initiatives

  • Research and evaluate requisitions for goods and services and develop a clear understanding of the company needs in order to make sourcing recommendations

  • Develop and prepare cost benefit analysis for review by management

  • Serve as the liaison between our company and vendors

  • Negotiate cost savings by utilizing competitive benchmarking and analysis of cost variants

  • Resolve issues with vendors

  • Analyze and evaluate existing and potential suppliers

  • Document efficient and productive processes

What You’ll Need…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other relevant area of study

  • Minimum of 5 years in an analyst role

  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Preferred…

  • MBA or Masters in Finance

  • CPSM

  • Supply Chain Management Certification

  • Oracle Experience or other ERP Software

  • Data visualization tool experience (such as Tableau, Power BI)
