This role will be focused in three major areas: functional evolutions in the Outage Management Systems (OMS); functional evolutions in the Advance Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) and improvements in the processes and tools that support the Network Operation business (automation, metering, control…). The job requires a very good understanding of the Network Operation business and of the technologies that support it. The required evolution initiatives should leverage value from global Iberdrola Networks experience to accompany project managers under his/her responsibility.


The main tasks related to the job are:

  • Coordinate the execution of the initiatives related to OT included in the digitalization investment plans and track the achievement of projected benefits for Avangrid Networks and their customers.

  • Analyze and implement the required processes transformations to guarantee an effective integration and optimal exploitation of the whole digital model in the OT area.

  • Ensure that the development of the initiatives of OT area fulfill their planning and business objectives.

  • Provide and obtain technological guidance on the corresponding area of expertise from global and country experts. Promote global collaboration to facilitate best practices adoption.

  • Develop a strong relationship with other areas of the Digitalization Program insofar some of the initiatives under his/her responsibility have strong links with other areas of the Program.

  • Develop a strong relationship with internal areas in order to direct process change implementation (Customer Service, Processes &

  • Technology, IT, HR, Gas and Electric Operations).

Skills and Requirements

Education & Experience Required:

Advanced degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration of other related discipline.

Background in Grid Management and/or Operations (Workforce management, incidence workflows, energy control centers.)

Broad understanding of technology applied to Energy business (mobile applications, automation, Supervisory systems -SCADA-, telecommunications, etc.)

Language level: English: high
