Job Summary

This position provides recruiting support for Dominion Energy and partners closely with HR and Dominion Energy leadership to develop and execute a cost effective recruiting strategy that is consistent with business goals.

  • Actively recruit diverse talent for current vacancies and develop long-term diversity recruiting strategy to build Dominion Energy’s talent pipeline

  • Develop relationships with external diverse community organizations; organize recruiting events with these partners

  • Have an active presence on social media with diverse groups

  • Serve as a liaison with recruiters and business unit leaders to notify them of qualified external candidates

  • Collaborate with sourcing specialists in other locations to identify recruitment opportunities; provide guidance and lead diversity recruiting efforts across DE’s footprint

  • Work with recruiters to ensure that top candidates receive appropriate level of engagement

  • Serve as a liaison and advisor to Dominion Energy’s Employee Resource Groups to support their core objective of recruiting diverse talent to the company

  • Integrate diversity goals and strategy into core recruiting functions

  • Evaluate and monitor diversity recruiting metrics

  • Serve as a member of Dominion Energy’s diversity and inclusion project teams and diversity councils

  • Develop content for social media platforms to align with Dominion Energy’s recruitment strategy

  • Partner with Digital Communications & Marketing team

  • Create information to market Dominion Energy’s employment brand and engage with prospective candidates

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years recruiting, sourcing or related business experience plus Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent related work experience)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent personal computer skills and in depth knowledge of Microsoft applications and applicant tracking system

  • In depth knowledge of company organizational structures

  • In depth knowledge of recruiting techniques, employment policies and procedures, and applicable regulations

  • Knowledge of company and HR policies, programs and information systems

  • Strong critical thinking and decision making skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast paced environment

Preferred: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP

Education Requirements

Education Level: Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: BachelorPreferred Disciplines: Business, Human Resources, Liberal Arts
