We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary

Leadership is at the center of a positive employee experience and a sustainable company future. This role sits on the Leadership Effectiveness team within Talent Management & Development, and supports leaders and teams to function at their best and to provide consultation, guidance, advocacy, and support when improvements are needed.

The individual hired for this role will be expected to:

  • Utilize coaching, consultative, and collaboration skills to partner with business segment leaders/groups and human resource business engagement teammates to assess leadership and culture-centered situations and agree upon most effective path forward.

  • Use individual and team coaching and other customized tools to diagnose, prescribe and implement effective people solutions.

  • Facilitate team effectiveness workshops, team transitions, team coaching, and leader-focused development meetings.

  • Drive greater awareness, accountability, proficiency and comfort level with respect to the leader’s role in managing individual and team performance.

  • Support the development of succession candidates, new leaders, and emerging leaders.

  • Act as source of best practice information and keeps abreast of trends and issues to design, implement, communicate, and administer human resources strategies, policies, and programs within leadership effectiveness.

  • May lead or coordinate HR initiatives, projects or programs related to the support and development of leaders, teams, and employee engagement/culture initiatives across the business.

  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the impact of leadership development efforts to make informed decisions about future initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Required Qualifications:

7-8+ years of directly related knowledge and experience in leadership effectiveness or organizational development. A Master's degree will count as one year towards the experience requirement.

Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:

  • Demonstrated previous ​​coaching and consultation towards effective people solutions is critical to the role

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of an organization

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic direction for projects and lead them to closure

  • Expertise in change management and organizational development

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to think analytically and strategically

  • Demonstrated ability to consult confidently with top level leaders

  • Advanced facilitation skills

  • Ability to lead strategic discussions and planning

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with executive coaching

• Experience in energy industry or similar industries is beneficial

• Familiarity with HR learning technology and data analytics tools, particularly those specific to talent development

Education Requirements

Bachelor required. Preferred majors include Business Administration, Human Resources, or Liberal Arts.

Master preferred in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description

Certifications in coaching (e.g. ICF Credentials) or leadership assessments (e.g. Korn Ferry, Insights Discovery) are highly desirable
