Dominion Transmission operates one of the world's largest underground natural gas storage systems. The company has links to other major pipelines and to markets in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States.Dominion Transmission maintains 7,800 miles of transmission pipeline in six states—Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland and Virginia. We store and transport large quantities of natural gas for large customers, such as major utilities and power plants. Along the way, we change gas pressures and heat, cool, dehydrate, refine and store large quantities of natural gas.Dominion Transmission also produces about 9.5 million dekatherms of natural gas annually from its own wells and operates more than 3,000 miles of gathering pipeline, through which it gathers nearly 113 million dekatherms (MMdt) of natural gas annually. It processes more than 84 MMdt annually at its state-of-the-art processing facility at Hastings in Wetzel County, W.Va., and sells more than 160 million gallons of the liquids produced there.JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position will work with the Transmission Services team to ensure the company’s obligation to transport natural gas in the pipeline is performed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor, review, reconcile and analyze data from multiple on and off line web sources as it relates to the request for transporting natural gas on an interstate pipeline system.• Process nominations through confirmation and scheduling while following rules and requirements.• Reconciling imbalances and pooling points.• Identify, reconcile, report and manage any point balances.• Monitor and communicate power plant burn profiles.• Monitor of pipeline Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBBs)• Provide information in a timely manner to allow for any necessary reconciliation.• Assist in customer problem resolution, monitor customer activities and ensure compliance with tariff provision.• Maintain necessary documentation of gas receipt and transportation activity and prepare reports as required.• Primary responsibilities include weekend coverage supplemented with weekday and rotating night coverage. Also will include holiday coverage.• Other projects and duties as assigned.

• 0-2 years related work experience; experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to operate personal computer, including data analysis.• Ability to define problems, collect data and draw conclusions.• Ability to perform at a high level with minimum supervision in a team environment.• Ability to maintain a high attention to detail• Ability to communicate effectively, establish rapport and speak persuasively.• Ability to negotiate problem solutions.• Demonstrate analytical skills, excellent teamwork and communication skills• Self-motivated and independent• Ability to work independently• Effective interpersonal skills.• Well organized, dependable, punctual, strong work ethic• Knowledge of Dominion transmission pipeline system, facility operations, tariff provisions and service agreements preferred.• Knowledge of customer facilities and operations, transportation rules and policies and interconnections preferred.• Previous experience with transportation and scheduling of natural gas preferred• Must be available to work on nights, weekends and holidays in regularly scheduled shifts
