Individual would be responsible for assisting coordination of the construction on the solar projects. Coordinates compliance with the schedule, safety, cost, and quality decisions in conjunction with the discipline specific superintendent.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and work with teams on specific discipline SOPs including working with superintendents to maintain and redline any changes in site specific work happening in the field. • Work with Operations managers on weekly basis for specific tasks assignments to be completed with deliverables • Work with superintendents on fragnet schedules and any fragnet schedule training • Involved in site specific tollgates and follow up on action items for teams to be able to proceed with the task wanting to be started at site • Join on site walks for proposals when available to give input to the schedule along with input on installation process. • Join on MRS calls for proposals for any input on discipline specific details that would have to be added on proposals • Join in L1 schedule and UR input for site specific details on proposals when available • Go to sites and confirm that specific discipline superintendents are taking care of their site in the manner of the standards we are creating • Help with PFMs on discipline specific Visio L1 schedule and tracking • Go to sites that are struggling with discipline specific issues and provide on-site support confirming they are building and following a plan including helping any recovery plans that need to be done. • Go to sites and confirm that installation process is being done as per the SOPs and fragnet schedule, if not helping superintendent to redline and implement the processes being done. • Go to sites and work on FLS and people matters most training • Review of safety issues (discipline specific) (Digging into the details of the 5 whys, process, PPE, ect..) • Staffing and craft resources coordination • Equipment resource coordination going through Jamie on the rental review. • Help with developing staging plans with superintendent and warehouse managers. Any staging plan training needs to be done with superintendents and warehouse through Jamie if needed. • Site visits with detailed audit report, and follow up on action items with dates that came from the site visit audit • Engagement with FPMS reviews • Tool list discipline specific • Consumables list discipline specific • Help with onboarding and orientation for superintendents • Help superintendents with any training of GFs and Foreman • Blueprint goals that need to be passed down to superintendents and CM follow up reporting to superintendents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred). Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.

  • At least 10 years of experience working in Construction or similar work environment and a strong working knowledge in logistics.

  • 3 years of construction supervisory experience within solar construction industry.

  • 3 years of experience in leading execution of solar projects.

  • Minimum software capability requirements: MS Word, MS Excel

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction or heavy industrial experience preferred, or relevant experience. 3+ years of construction management experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Physical Demands:

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Stand, Kneel, Bend, Stoop, Move, and Walk long distances in and around confined, cluttered places, and uneven areas.

• See and hear naturally or with correction.

• Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties.

• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure.

• Requires repetitive movement.

• May require work above 5 feet in height.

• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds.

• Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical labor in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.

• Requires working in cramped work spaces and getting into awkward positions.

• Requires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32F degrees) temperatures and exposure to inclement weather such as dust, wind, snow, rain, etc.

• Requires working in extremely bright or low lighting conditions

• Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.

• Work around hazardous equipment.

• Typical office environment.

• This position is considered a safety sensitive position.
