GENERAL SUMMARY
This position assists with the development and administration of the Occupational Health Program for medical examinations, health care, medical surveillance, disability management, and health education to all Energy Northwest employees. These activities are in accordance with federal and state regulations and Energy Northwest objectives.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Under the direction of a registered nurse or Medical Director, assist with the development, administration, and monitoring of the medical examination program for employees, including the performance and analysis of medical tests and procedures. This includes examinations for new employees and periodic examinations as required by Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations, state regulations, and Energy Northwest policy.
Assist with the development and administration of special screening programs (i.e., hearing conservation, carpal tunnel syndrome).
Under the direction of a registered nurse or Medical Director, review, analyze, and interpret medical test results and medical surveillance data. Recommend policies or practices to minimize occupational injuries/diseases.
Under the direction of a registered nurse or Medical Director, assist with the development and delivery of health care services in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy, including administration of primary care, assessment, counseling, and referral. Evaluate individuals who return to work after a disability, injury, or illness and evaluate for and administer modified duty assignments, job placement, or work restrictions. Provide direction and technical advice to contract and temporary medical staff.
Develop and provide health education and wellness programs or topics for employee groups or individuals to promote health maintenance and prevention of illness and injury and provide health counseling.
Coordinate scheduling and recordkeeping of over 500 examinations per year. Maintain database of Occupational Health tests and records and analyze results and trends.
Maintain Occupational Health office and coordinate day-to-day activities to ensure employee (population of 1,100) health needs are maintained.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or GED is required. Completion of accredited practical nursing program. Licensure by the state of Washington to practice practical nursing. Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, audiometric technician, and spirometry certification. Five or more years of Licensed Practical Nursing experience.

Pay Range
$32.72 - $49.08 Hourly
Midpoint:
$40.90
Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
Incentive Compensation
This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
