This position is responsible for performing full cycle recruiting and carrying out talent acquisition processes and practices for the organization. Partners with stakeholders to develop and implement effective, timely, and cost-effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent. Drives and supports recruiting with a data-driven approach, coordinates recruiting plans, and measures performance by drawing insights from analytics to make the hiring process more effective and more efficient. Leads department programs and initiatives by assignment.

SALARY RANGE: $64,100 - $96,100 (Determined by the knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead full cycle recruiting for assigned business segment, developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with managers and partners during each phase of the process including planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selecting, hiring and onboarding.

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing, evaluation, and closing approaches with an ability to manage client expectations through a deep understanding of the business needs. Work cross-functionally with other Human Resources teams on hiring strategies and headcount planning. Implement these strategies to meet those needs by being creative, cost-effective, and timely.

  • Demonstrate creativity and excellent research capabilities to proactively generate candidates by applying knowledge of multiple sourcing tools and channels. Employ traditional sourcing strategies as well as new innovative recruitment approaches and conduct external benchmarking to understand the competitive recruiting landscape.

  • Own the candidate experience, through the entire candidate life cycle, act as the main point of contact for candidates.

  • Initiate and build strategies to attract and hire a diverse workforce. Continuously evaluate and improve hiring practices to ensure an equitable and inclusive candidate experience.

  • Review talent and recruiting dashboards, support special data requests and create routine reports documenting recruitment activity, effectiveness and improvements based on key insights. Ensure we are getting full value from our vendors and key service providers.

  • Identify opportunities, lead, embed and drive recruiting programs, processes and tactics that support the recruiting strategy. This includes but is not limited to and is based on designation: branding and advertising, social media, internship program, employee referrals, talent network, career fairs, diversity, equity and inclusion, and engagement activities and cultural initiatives at the corporate headquarters.

  • Serve as a super-user of talent systems to advise hiring managers and broader HR team on system requirements and most effective use of system. Evaluates and ensures we are attracting the right talent, leveraging the right tools and technologies, and using the right practices.

  • Maintain applicant tracking database integrity and follow recruiting policy and processes. Ensure compliance with company policies as well as applicable laws, including but not limited to EEO and affirmative action requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum three (3) years of talent management, recruitment or human resources experience required.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Specific knowledge of current labor relations concepts and practices, employment law and HR government reporting requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong customer relationship management skills and partnerships are key to having success in this role accompanied by an ability to identify talent that will positively add to culture beyond skills for the job.

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, CRM, and other recruiting systems (administration and/or super user).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.

  • Must be able to exercise discretion and solid judgment.

  • Ability to set priorities, manage several tasks simultaneously and adapt efficiently to change.

  • Effectively collaborate with all levels of employees and management.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or continuously to lift, carry, push, pull or sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if moving about is only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Work environment: Routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level. Willing to travel up to 10% (e.g., 2 days/month) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities. Travel will be necessary to conduct the duties of this job and the employee must have proper licensing to operate a motor vehicle.
