Position summary:

As a key member of the Business Applications - ECM team, the Software Development Analyst will collaborate with various IT workgroups and business stakeholders to deliver strategic and scalable content management solutions with our current ECM systems and SharePoint Online environment. Under minimal supervision, the ECM Software Development Analyst will support application and content lifecycle management practices that promote compliance and advance organizational information governance initiatives.

Pay Range:This posting includes the full pay range for this position. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.

Level II:$75,550 - $113,350

Senior:$88,700 - $133,150

Essential Functions:

• Manage SharePoint Online Administration duties. Create hubs, customize site collections, and manage user permission security. Ensure compliance with ECM best practices, content types, metadata, and taxonomies to improve document classification and retrieval. Provide technical and analytical guidance to develop and define business needs. Automate document workflows, create custom forms, and/or approvals using SharePoint's built-in tools.

• Proactively perform maintenance, system upgrades, and enhancements for ECM solutions including, but not limited to, IBM FileNet, Business Automation Workflow, Kofax Centralized Scanning, and any third-party integrations with these systems, to primarily support business need requirements for Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Legal, and Records Management.

• Design, document, and develop all managed solutions for content and/or data migrations from other sources to SharePoint Online. Maintain a competent understanding of using various migration tools and application programming interfaces for system integrations.

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond during working and non-working hours. Assist team in run operations to include day-to-day support and after-hours maintenance. Take part in system patching, upgrades, monthly maintenance responsibilities, and disaster recovery exercises.

• Design, document, and develop ECM solutions to streamline content creation, storage, retrieval, and disposal with collaboration across multi-departments or enterprise wide. Develop solutions and collaborate with business users to support content lifecycle management. Work with IT and other business team members in all phases of implementation and development, including identifying and documenting requirements, creating technical design documents, developing, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Participate in the identification and resolution of complex business and technical problems, utilizing product knowledge and troubleshooting tools and techniques. Improve processes by monitoring and analyzing trends in service tickets received, aiding in problem resolution, and recommending improvements to systems and business process training.

• Follow best practices for version control, application lifecycle management, and ensure compliance with IT change control and SOX processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work with Technology Integration and/or the business users to design and deliver training for content management solutions.

• Stay up to date on changes and advances in technology that could affect the company. Additionally, monitor Microsoft Alerts and the roadmap to proactively support impacted ECM solutions as we lead the design, customer notifications, and implementation of new SharePoint Online features.

• Show transparency and teamwork by collaborating, mentoring, and cross training peer developers on all new ECM solutions and software development.

What You'll Need:

Level II:

• Associate's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science or related specialty or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Minimum of three (3) years professional experience with software development and supporting application systems or combination of experience and education required.

• Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, leadership, time management, and organizational skills along with demonstrating the ability to prioritize, work within challenging situations, and adapt quickly when business priorities change.

• Capable of working independently with vendors, IT team members, and business partners - both locally and remotely - in managing software requirements and system support, while ensuring that team members and leadership are kept well informed of progress.

• Consistently maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance to ensure team cohesion, meet project deadlines, and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives. This includes being punctual, meeting or exceeding performance standards, and reliably supporting day-to-day operations.

Senior:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related specialty, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Minimum of five (5) years professional experience with software development and supporting application systems or combination of experience and education required.

What Is Desired Or Can Be Taught:

• Depending upon assignments, desired experience may include SharePoint Admin Center, Search and Intelligence, MS Purview Administration for Records Management, Contract Lifecycle Management for Procurement, Enterprise Centralized Scanning solutions, ShareGate, and MuleSoft integrations.

• Knowledge in customizing solutions using SharePoint Online PowerShell, PnP, Power Platform tools, and other programming languages as needed, to design, develop and support content management solutions, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, or SharePoint Framework SPFx, MS Syntex or SharePoint Advanced Management.

• Knowledge in database design and writing SQL queries with SQL Server, Oracle, or other database technologies to facilitate data analysis and ad-hoc reporting, and to diagnose and resolve software issues.

• Understanding of the importance of cybersecurity in protecting company technology assets. Comprehension of Sarbanes-Oxley and other risk-based controls as they relate to software systems.

• Strong understanding of Records Information Management (RIM) and governance principles to implement retention policies and ensure compliance within all ECM solutions.
