Serves as an organizational development business partner for both large- and small-scale enterprise-wide initiatives aimed at achieving strategic business goals, improving employee performance, and enhancing employee experience. This includes researching, planning, developing, implementing and measuring programs and initiatives of varying complexity for employees at all levels.

SALARY RANGE: $71,550 - $107,400 (Determined by the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.)

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Manager, Organization Development and Diversity

LOCATION:Our Corporate Headquarters in Rapid City, South Dakota

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead and/or assist in the planning, execution, and maintenance of large and small-scale organization development programs and initiatives within the company.

  • Assist with organizational change strategy development and execution to support human resource and enterprise initiatives.

  • Collaborate with leaders and human resource partners on matters relating to performance, organization and leadership programs, culture, and the employee experience to better identify and incorporate standard methodologies into process and program design.

  • Create, implement, maintain, and facilitate development programs to support the goals and objectives of the company.

  • Develop and lead project plans and teams in support of organization development initiatives and projects.

  • Identify and participate in ongoing process improvement activities for all organization development processes, including but not limited to: performance management, career development and planning, leadership development, culture, employee engagement/employee experience, and diversity and inclusion.

  • Manage data gathering and employee insight through online survey design, administration, and analysis.

  • Prepare high quality presentations and reports for an assortment of audiences, including senior leaders. Effectively deliver these in both oral and written forms.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the creation of communications for internal and external audiences on organizational development initiatives.

  • Assist with special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of (5) five years of experience related to organization development or human resources required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or other relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in internal client advising, change management, organizational efficiency / behavior, organization design and measurement.

  • Ability to work independently on a variety of concurrent assignments and to identify, plan and develop large and small-scale organization development programs and interventions.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Proficiency in computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various niche software/programs.

  • Excellent planning, organization and project management skills.

  • Ability to exercise good judgment, initiative, and dedication in an environment of rapid change.

  • Analytical skills vital for problem solving and data analysis.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of business, employee, and applicant information.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees within the organization; excellent team member skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse work force.

If the use of reaching and moving controls exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.

Work environment: Routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level. Willing to travel occasionally (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
