This position is responsible for the scoping, assessment, planning, design, testing, and technical documentation for the implementation, support, and migration of enterprise cloud solutions. These solutions include but are not limited to O365, MCAS, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and AAD Connect. The Engineer will possess and maintain expertise in these platforms utilizing that knowledge to inspire and inform customers, coworkers, and strategic partners on innovative solutions to address business requirements. Duties must be performed in accordance with company published policies and procedures.
SALARY GRADE: $68,450-$102,750 (Determined by the knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Day to day system administration and support of Black Hills Energy’s cloud environment, including Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
Engage with business customers to build M365 solutions that drive business value.
Performs systems administration functions for assigned applications to ensure supported systems are reliable, efficiently maintained, and available to support customer productivity.
Participating in design, planning, configuration, reporting, deployment and day to day operations of cloud applications and related technology.
Provide operation support for Exchange On-Prem & Exchange Online.
Improve process through scripting and automation.
Effectively secure all data and access within assigned systems.
Assisting with the resolution of issues and actively participating in problem management activities.
Implement proactive measures to ensure availability, reliability and performance goals are consistently met.
Ensure system security in compliance with regulations and company policy.
Provide monthly status reports.
Ability to effectively document procedures for audit and control purposes.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule.
Willingly accept all other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with architecting, implementing, and maintaining highly available mission critical IT environments.
Associate degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Security or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, M365 Administration, architecture, and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, architecture, and troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge of networking technologies and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge of Single Sign On technologies such as SAML and OAuth.
Knowledge of Cloud Access Security Broker technologies.
Knowledge of PowerShell is preferred.
Knowledge of the Utility Industry is strongly preferred.

Ability to work from remote locations as required.

Work environment: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level. Must be capable of occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
