Job Specifications

Serve as an Asset Programs operational partner for centralized asset program execution functions. This includes partnering, supporting, researching, planning, and analyzing asset program activities of varying complexity.

SALARY RANGE: Determined by the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.

Analyst I:$69,350 - $104,00

Senior Analyst:$82,550 - $123,800

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:Sr Manager Asset Programs

LOCATION:Our corporate headquarters located in Rapid City, South Dakota.

• This posting includes the full salary range for this position. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform software maintenance testing.

• Proficient in data analysis, understanding metrics and creating analytic reports.

• Support the execution of centralized asset program deliverables through cross-functional teams with operations, engineering, legal, IT, analytics, finance/accounting, and supply chain.

• Update processes, procedures and training on the various asset programs in accordance with policy.

• Partner with process owners to develop and maintain consistent processes, roles and responsibilities, and methods to ensure policy adherence.

• Lead various aspects of program deliverables with external contractors and customers. Oversee, coordinate, customer interaction and manage 3rd party contractors. Administer contracts with customers and contractors. Prepare and process applicable invoicing functions.

• Prepare reports for stakeholders. Effectively deliver in both verbal and written forms.

• Strong organizational and customer service skills, facilitate various meetings with customers and matrix teams for certain programs.

• Knowledge of geo-spatial software.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain strong, productive working relationships with employees, contractors, and customers.

• Promote a culture of ongoing operational excellence.

• Assist with special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Analyst I:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other relevant area required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of (3) three years of utility, business analytics, project or program management, or other relevant experience required.

Senior Analyst:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other relevant area required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of (5) five years of utility, business analytics, project or program management, or other relevant experience required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Proficient in creating data analytic models, analyzing the data and creating reports.

• Maintain and test software system functionality.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects with minimal supervision and as part of a team to meet work goals within deadlines.

• Problem solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft products as well as utility applications, in particular, GIS, and data analytic skills.

• Self-starter and able to complete deliverables with minimal supervision.
