Carolina Tree Care is looking for an enthusiastic Arborist Representative to join our team. If you love everything there is to love about trees, enjoy meeting new people, and like being outdoors, this position is for you.

Our Arborist Representatives are responsible for meeting with clients and evaluating their tree and shrub care needs. They’re expected to educate clients on tree care and address any questions or concerns. They work up proposals and estimates for clients and oversee crews to make sure the work is done right.

You’ll be a great fit if you’re self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will also help you succeed.

Who you are …

• Must be result driven as well as comfortable meeting deadlines and sales objectives• Tree care industry experience is preferred or the willingness to work with tree/plant care crews to become familiar with practices and functions within the Company and industry for a minimum of 90 days• Minimum 3 years’ experience in outside sales preferred

• Minimum 2-year Degree in Arboriculture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science, or related field • Ability to identify trees, shrubs as well as diagnose and recommend corrective action or proactive management plans is a plus

• Must have and maintain valid driver’s license, meeting all Company requirements for driving• Must possess excellent selling and negotiating skills• Must possess excellent written and verbal skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office

What you will do....

• Market Carolina Tree Care services within the assigned territory

• Present, promote and sell services to new and existing customers

• Perform estimates related to time and cost for crews performing tree removal, pruning, cabling and related services

• Plan and execute all signed agreements to completion and total customer satisfaction.

• Perform duties related to accounts receivable function to insure timely customer payment

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with customers in both the commercial and residential market segments; research and identify potential business opportunities in existing and emerging work locations

• Coordinate and collaborate with internal Company resources to meet/exceed customer expectations

• Keep current on industry best practices and trends

• Supply division management with reports/results as requested

• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
