Portland General Electric Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst in Portland, Oregon

As a Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst, you will have the unique opportunity to lead enterprise risk management efforts, including physical, financial, credit, and other forms of business risk for Portland General Electric. You will identify and analyze potential sources of loss to minimize risk, develop risk definitions, and work with management to design, implement, and sustain an effective risk management program across the organization. A successful candidate will have advanced knowledge of risk management concepts and trend modeling skills, coupled with advanced written and oral communication skills and strong analytical thinking abilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Risk Assessment - Identifies and analyzes company exposure to risk by evaluating overall transaction and portfolio data to identify potential risk trends or patterns across data sets; researches potential mitigation strategies and presents to senior management; reviews work of other team members and suggests new or enhanced analyses and processes for the team.
Enterprise Risk Management - Develops risk definitions; works with management to design, implement and sustain an effective risk management program and coordinates efforts across the organization to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Risk Analysis - Conducts analyses and develops reports across complex data sets requiring unique/new analysis approaches; develops reports containing recommendations for management and works with internal clients to implement approved recommendations.
Regulatory Analyses - Leads reporting efforts for regulatory analyses and compliance requirements; advises senior leadership of risk management policies and regulations.
Data Management Tools - Leads increasing efficiency of business processes (automated and manual) and data gathering/processing for analysis and reporting purposes.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS
Education
- Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or other related field or equivalent experience
Experience
- Five or more years of experience in an analytical role with experience presenting to executive level leadership.

Compensation Range:
$89,175.00 - $148,625.00
Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
