About this Role

The Project Assistant supports the project team on assigned projects. Performs routine daily activities, communications and assists in gathering and distributing information to team members.

What You'll Do

  • Support Project Managers in daily tasks and deliverables

  • Facilitate communication among team members

  • Provide administrative support to all Project Managers

  • Collaborate with Accounting Manager and Office team to provide support in billing and tracking paperwork

  • Assist in scheduling crew jobs and flaggers when needed

  • General administration support for the Project Manager team including completion of project paperwork

  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • Knowledge of telecommunications or construction industry field is preferred

  • Experience in working roles as part of a project team

  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner

  • Excellent both verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

  • Organizational skills, especially file organization on a terminal server.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to obtain information or solve problems in support of the team’s goals

  • Critical thinking ability

  • Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail

  • Ability to learn and use a variety of software, tools and systems necessary to meet business needs

  • Knowledge of administrative, office and general billing procedures

  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
