JOB SUMMARY:

Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting relationships, other relationships:

The Management of Change (MOC) and Innovations Program Manager will be the coordinator of the Management of Change and Innovations programs of the company. The Management of Change program is a controlled process that evaluates any change in operation, procedure, specification and/or work process. This program applies to any change, permanent or temporary, that will modify existing equipment, operations, procedures, specifications, or work processes applicable to the operations department of Avangrid Renewables.

The Innovations Program provides the opportunity for all Avangrid Renewables employees to share and implement innovative and best practice ideas and contribute to promoting innovation and efficiency among operations. The MOC and Innovations program manager will be responsible for formalizing the change request and approval process as well as communicating and facilitating the implementation of the approved changes throughout the whole organization. In addition, he/she will be responsible for the coordination of innovation programs making sure that innovative ideas and best practices are communicated. The MOC and innovations program manager will be also responsible for updating the Operations SharePoint.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):

  • Cooperate with all departments within operations in order to gather and pre-evaluate potential changes and innovative ideas.

  • Communicate and collaborate with the MOC and Innovation Committees.

  • Host and coordinate periodical meetings for Management of Change.

  • Host and coordinate periodical meetings for Innovations.

  • Track and report the status of all proposals starting from first introduction until final implementation.

  • Upload and maintain the Operations Sharepoint with the results of the periodical sessions of the MOC and Innovation Committees.

  • Coordinate the use of the EHS 360 tool, used for the submission of changes, and ideas.

  • Follow up status and implementation rate of changes, best practices, and innovative ideas.

  • Create, follow up and communicate relevant KPIs with regards to the progress of the programs.

  • Propose and implement improvements to the program.

  • Report to all levels of the organization and to upper management.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Education & Experience Required :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any educational field

  • 3+ years project coordinating experience preferably in operations

  • Preferred wind industry experience

  • Knowledge of internal Avangrid’s Renewables applications preferred (DOMINA SAP, DOMINA G, EHS360 etc)

    Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent, demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function well in a team environment and interface with a broad range of departments and work groups

  • Demonstrated skill in understanding, motivating and / or influencing others in promoting innovations

  • Ability to support communication of changes and support the team in adaptation to change

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and PowerPoint
