Principal/Senior Organizational Development Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Organizational Development Specialist to join our HR Team. We are looking for an expert level Specialist to come in and design programs to help the organization assess its current functioning and determine appropriate OD interventions to achieve greater effectiveness, provide consultation on organization design and leadership development.

Our ideal candidate has deep experience in HR in Organizational Development, leadership development, employee engagement, culture transformation and assessment experience. You are also someone who can evaluate organizational needs and create solutions as well as translate that into a simplified approach for execution. You will partner closely with other teams within HR and throughout the business.

What you would work on:

Program Management

Identifies organizational gaps and develops programs aligned to business and HR strategy. Adapts programs to meet emerging needs and align to industry best practices. Champions programs to employees, managers, and others within HR. Collaborates with other HR functions to improve systems to support organizational objectives.


Serves as a subject matter expert to HRBPs and managers. Provides guidance to HR and managers on strategies to improve performance, enhance cultural competence, manage change, and resolve problems. Provides innovative solutions on team and leadership development, management process improvement and organizational effectiveness.

Project Management

Anticipates business needs and identifies emerging trends. Leads cross-functional projects to design, develop and implement products and services. Collaborates with leadesr and other HR functions to design and deliver solutions to business challenges.

We are looking for someone with:

At the Senior level, the successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, sociology, finance, human resources or other related field or equivalent experience and typically eight or more years in human resources with at least two years as an HR business partner or equivalent experience. At the Principal level, the successful candidate will typically have a master’s degree in business, psychology, sociology, finance, human resources, or another related field or equivalent experience and typically fifteen or more years in human resources.

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred; other HR certifications a plus (e.g., CCMP, Prosci, CCP, CPTD, KFLA, ICF)

The position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate’s applicable skills and experience.
