In this role you will be Responsible for the IT service management process, IT change management. You will also be accountable for process design, implementation, operation and improvement.
You will support our journey by:
Performing an extensive range and variety of complex technical and/or professional work activities.
Ensuring that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes to control IT infrastructure and applications (Configuration Items), to minimize the number and impact of any related incidents upon service.
Engage with service asset and configuration management teams to establish, procure and streamline configuration information to effectively manage IT resources and services.
The ability to review complex implementations for dealing with more complex requests for change, evaluates risks to integrity of infrastructure inherent in proposed implementations, seeks authority for those activities, reviews the effectiveness of change implementation, suggests improvement to organizational procedures governing change management.
Leading the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation of changes based on requests for change.
Performing audits to ensure compliance to policy and procedure as well as working with various Auditing entities to ensure compliance with SOX controls.
Ability to communicate business value from achievements in non-core business functions and/or processes.
You will bring the following skills to our team:
Education Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, management or other related field or equivalent experience.
5 or more years of experience in IT Service Management with focus in Change, Configuration Management (CMDB) and / or Governance.
Experience with development of policies, processes and procedures for related discipline.
Experience working in a 24/7 transactional enterprise environment where zero downtime is the expectation, rather than the exception.
Proven analytical ability to tie process/procedures to tools/technology in order to deliver agile, automated and scalable processes.
Self-directed individual, requiring minimal oversight and with proven ability to hold yourself and others accountable.
Prior experience / familiarity with SOX.
Prior experience / familiarity with ServiceNow.
Experience in Public Speaking and delivering Training.
Prior technical experience preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Training Certification in ITIL framework preferred
