In this job, you will be responsible for the program information/notification and safety functions for the Aerial Inspection program, including developing and executing internal and external project plans to promote and support the program. This position is also responsible for supporting the management of day-to-day vendor safety performance and improvement and will act as a single point of contact between the Aerial Inspection program, corporate safety, T&D Safety, and vendors for ensuring vendor safety service level and quality are met. Responsible for leading the development of programs and projects in relation to safety for Aerial employees and vendors. In this role you will exercise project management skills, quantitative skills and demonstrate strategic oversight in developing internal policies and internal/external programs.   • Lead cross-functional team(s) in preparation of weekly flights and notification to local cities, communities, law enforcement and individual customers.

  • Manage multiple critical project work streams to assure high quality project execution in fulfillment of WMP and corporate goals.

  • Benchmark industry standards and assess appropriateness of analytical methodologies, strategies, and data related to proactive notifications and strategies of Aerial’s flights.

  • Identify issues that require attention and make the appropriate decision to resolve by involving the appropriate stakeholders who may be impacted.

  • Provide management and strategic direction to a large project team and be responsible for working with others to manage complex and strategic notification schedule, including internal and customer facing information and notifications and development and adherence to Aerial’s project schedules.

  • Responsible for managing the development and implementation of business notifications that further the reach of the program or meet organizational change impacts derived from the effort that have major impact on key business unit and Company objectives

  • Create internal and external communication plans to promote the Aerial Inspection Program.

  • Develop notification schedules by integrating customer communication plans, incorporating corporate communications and media activities, managing multiple stakeholders, and developing communication collateral to achieve stakeholder/client awareness, education, and readiness.

  • Act as a key consultant to senior management in all matters related to communication and communication strategy, representing the program with contractors, suppliers, customers, other departments, and/or other parties as required.

  • Monitor regulatory activities, developments and communications that may impact the Aerial Inspection Program and partner with AirOps to interpret changes and any relevant communication by making recommendations to Aerial leadership on procedures, policies, practices, and/or internal controls to support changes.

Qualifications

The essentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related discipline

  • Ten years of overall experience as a project lead or project facilitator in developing, executing, and tracking strategic information and notifications for an organization or department as part of the overall project, while managing multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience creating project management plans.

The preferred

  • Customer-facing experience with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of OCM practices.

  • Demonstrated experience interfacing and/or collaborating with clients, peers and senior/executive leaders.

  • Creative, collaborative, problem solver, good listener, able to multi-task and think quickly. Demonstrated ability to building effective internal relationships.
