A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Responsible for Remediation Execution & Performance analytics, data interpretation, data extraction and reporting as it pertains to our internal and external regulatory compliance programs as outlined in the Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) as well, Non-High Fire GO95 Compliance objectives with Preventative Maintenance notification work.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) to analysts and Distribution Regional Management about data sources, extraction methods, and data interpretation.

  • Provides analysis for AOR in support of ongoing company operations or in response to changing business strategies.

  • Responsible for development and deployment of operational analytics, tools, and processes that support Remediation Execution & Performance that aligns to pre-established corporate-level performance metrics.

  • Performs analysis, testing, and/or measurement in a specialized area of expertise (Distribution and/or Reliability).

  • Performs in-depth analysis, develops recommendations, and provides consulting supporting across organizations to address concerns that require technical knowledge to resolve.

  • Leads a team or participates as a team member during implementation of specialized technical projects.

  • Provides consultative services on an as-needed basis to department and division management, customers, and clients on specialized technical issues.

Qualifications

The essentials

  • Five or more years of experience in the field of analysis.

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The preferred

  • Master’s degree.

  • Experience in SAS, SQL, Python, etc.

  • Experience and knowledge working with geospatial analysis preferred.

  • Project Management Certificate, Lean Six Sigma, Specialized Certificates.

  • The position’s work mode is remote . Employee can work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
