In this job, you’ll be actively involved in leading the development, implementation and support for risk-based quality programs for Transmission & Distribution Organizational Unit (T&D) to ensure acceptable levels of quality and compliance, mitigate risk, and ensure appropriate and specific controls are in place for various T&D activities throughout the asset lifecycle. This person will work with senior T&D leaders T&D about relevant quality issues that need their input and attention and will also interact with colleagues across T&D, Engineering and Enterprise Risk Management, and will lead cross-functional teams in support of quality programs on a day-to-day basis.As a Quality Program Senior Advisor , your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Lead development and implementation of risk-based Quality Programs for large-scale, high-impact, long-term quality efforts that require coordination with other business lines (BL) within T&D, Engineering, and Enterprise Risk Management.
Provide oversight and coordination in support of ongoing quality programs for T&D Program Owners.
Act as interface and intermediary among T&D BLs, Quality organization, and T&D Senior Leadership
Oversee/Coordinate/Facilitate support of various quality or compliance programs as requested.
Coordinate with BLs on quality programs and drive identified issues and concerns to resolution.
Drive Quality program plans and schedules to ensure key goals are met.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Ten or more years of combined experience working with inspection programs, quality programs, quality management systems, or developing quality policies or procedures.
Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution Construction experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science or related field.
Experience working with compliance requirements and developing rules and procedures.
Experience implementing quality management systems or quality programs.
Technical experience in utility construction, planning, or inspection disciplines.
Broad knowledge of SCE construction standards or General Order Numbers 95 and 128.
Project management experience.
Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO-9001, ISO-55001, etc.

Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
