Responsible for safely and efficiently loading holes with explosives in connection with blasting overburden and coal. Inspects equipment before operating and insures that it is in safe, operable condition. All work will be performed in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements and company policies for the mine to meet its budgeted goals in safety, cost, productivity and environmental requirements.


  • A high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Current Wyoming blaster’s certification in surface mining operations, or be able to obtain such certification based on education and experience with 3 months of being hired.
