Directs the activities of the assigned functional areas of Operations Work Management and Performance, Operations Project Management, and the enterprise level Project Management Center of Excellence.
Collaborates with Operations leadership to develop Operations Department strategy to achieve results in support of the corporate strategy.
Directs the development of the Operations five year business plan to achieve corporate objectives.
Directs the development, planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of the Operations annual work plan and budget.
Directs the development, reporting, and monitoring of Operations Department key performance indicators.
Directs driving excellence with respect to the Operations Department’s core work processes and work management system.
Directs the management, control, and oversight of Operations infrastructure projects to achieve safe, on time, on budget completion of work with high quality construction.
Provides leadership to the enterprise level Project Management Center of Excellence team lead to result in continuous improvement in the company’s management of projects.

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business or related field
15+ years of industry experience
10+ years of prior management experience
Proven leadership experience with a large scope
Preferred: Advanced Degree in engineering, business or related field
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Understanding of the regulated electric utility business drivers.
Excellent planning, budgeting, and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with leaders across the company.
Directs and controls strategy and execution or the organizations activities within the sub function or major business area managed.
Key member of the management team representing the organization in dealings with clients and external bodies.
Seasoned leader with extensive business experience, broad and deep functional expertise and significant product knowledge.
Primary focus of role is on proactive strategic leadership rather than day to day operational execution, although the role includes significant operational responsibilities.
Decision making Impact:
Develops end-to-end solutions influencing high impact decisions made at a higher hierarchy level.
Solutions developed typically have no precedent, and require comprehensive analyses and consideration of original concepts and approaches.
Drives implementation of transformational changes in the Corporation that has high impact on the achievement of results for the Corporation.
Improves on entire existing practices, leveraging on personal past experiences, and in-depth best practice knowledge.
